Aidha's Annual Unspoken Life Photography Competition and Exhibition 2022

Unspoken Life seeks to delve beneath the labels and unfurl the many selves of migrant domestic workers (MDWs) often unseen by Singapore society. This competition and exhibition will applaud and showcase the strength, diversity and creativity of migrant domestic workers who are here seeking a brighter future for themselves and their families.

MDWs were invited to share their views of the world through their lens in this competition. Finalists will be showcased at our exhibition in November 2022. Please find more details below!

Competition Categories

How to Submit

    • All MDWs in Singapore can participate by submitting their photographs via email to [email protected] or by WhatsApp 8428 1643 before 23 October 2022, 12 pm.
    • Submissions must include full name, nationality and phone number.
    • Also, include a short bio in 100 words or less that include how long you have been in Singapore, your hobbies and some interesting facts
    • To ensure photos should be original work in Hi-Res (min size – 2MB), JPG / PNG format
    • To ensure there is a description of each photograph in 100 words or less and state which category each photo is being submitted for
    • Only Aidha student/alumna is allowed to submit for Category 3
    • You may submit up to 5 photos only per category
    • Shortlisted entries will need to describe each photo in 100 words or less
    • Please do not submit selfies! 😊
