1. Can I join more than one course at a time?

Improve your English with another course: Yes, in fact we recommend this to give students more opportunities to improve their English with different mentors.
Module 1 & 2: You can start Module 2 after completing three months of Module 1, which means instead of taking 12 months, you could finish both the modules in 9 months.
Module 3: You can start after three months of Module 2.

2. What do I need to bring to class?

Just a pen and paper, and a desire to learn. We provide you with a student handbook at the start of each Module and during computer lessons on campus, each student will be equipped with a laptop, giving you the opportunity to practice and learn.

3. What happens if I miss a class?

If you missed a class, you can schedule a make-up class to catch up on what you have missed. If you don’t have a valid reason for your absence (travel, illness, employer request) then a $5 charge per class will apply.

4. Sunday class: Do I need to attend every Sunday?

No, you will only have classes on two Sundays in a month (Either 1st & 3rd Sunday or 2nd & 4th Sundays).

5. Weekday class: Do I need to attend every Wednesday?

Yes, you will need to attend the session every Wednesday for 6 months from 12pm to 1.30pm.

6. What do I need to know for online classes?

Online classes use Zoom which allows you to see and hear the mentor and other students as well as to see class materials. You can easily download and use Zoom free of charge but you will need access to wifi or you may incur data charges during the classes. Aidha will send you information about Zoom to help get you started. You can participate in online classes using a laptop, tablet or your phone.

7. Do I get a certificate?

Yes, if you have attended at least 75% of your classes, for example 9 out of 12 classes and 5 out of 6 classes. If you missed many classes, you can do make up classes and once you meet the requirements, you will receive your certificate.
To graduate from Module 2, you will also need to submit your Personal Financial Plan and to graduate with honors from Module 3, you will have to submit your Business Plan.

8. Can I attend the Graduation Ceremony?

Every student who has completed Module 2 and has submitted a Personal Financial Plan is eligible to join the Graduation Ceremony. Students who have completed Module 3 and submitted a Business Plan, will graduate with honors. This is an incredible achievement for our students and we encourage employers and friends to attend in support.
