There are almost 240,000 foreign domestic workers in Singapore, but many remain unseen and invisible, defined solely by their duties and responsibilities of cleaning, cooking and caring. This exhibition delves beneath the labels to unfurl the many selves that domestic workers keep hidden from Singapore society – as dreamers, artists, and changemakers, both locally and in your home countries. This is a call to all domestic workers to share your Unspoken Life. Due to popular demand, we have extended the submission deadline to Wed, 22nd November 2017.

As part of Aidha’s fundraising campaign, “Gift of Education” campaign and International Migrant Workers Day on 18th December 2017, Aidha and our partners, Lensational and Singlit Station have organised the 2nd Annual Photography Competition that is open to all foreign domestic workers! Get your photos featured at our upcoming photo exhibition which is open to the public on Saturday, 16th & Sunday, 17th December at Intersections gallery, Kandahar Street.

Winners of the competition stand a chance to win cash prizes totalling $1500 with a grand prize of $500!
