'Eat Your Way to a Good Life' Health Workshop and Aidha Open House on Sunday 23 April 2017!

Join us for this FREE Health Workshop and Aidha Open House on Sunday 23rd April 2017 from10.30am to 12.30pm hosted by Aidha and Beam and Go at Aidha Campus, United World College, Room 309.
Open to All Foreign Domestic Workers in Singapore (including Non-Aidha students) and Aidha volunteers.

PROGRAMME:
10:30am to 11am: Registrations
11am to 12:00pm: Beam and Go will present an ‘Eat your way to a good life’ interactive fun workshop which will include:
– Interactive activities and educational games about food nutrition (how to eat right, enjoy food, and stay healthy)
– Interactive discussion about health concerns such as diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure
Winners of the games and quizzes will get prizes! If you have any questions about eating healthily or food health issues…or you just want to learn more –then this FREE Workshop is for you!
12:00pm – 12:30pm: Aidha’s “Dollars and Sense” game and Open House

Be Bold For Change with Aidha & Singapore Committee for UN Women - 19 March 2017

Aidha and the Singapore Committee for UN Women are pleased to invite you to celebrate Foreign Domestic Workers Being Bold for Change in the month of International Women’s Day on Sunday, 19 March 2017 at United Word College, Dover.

This fun-filled free event will have live music, a festive lunch, workshops and great activities for all! The celebration will take place from 11.30am to 2.30pm in the tent plaza at UWC Dover and is open to anyone interested to show support to Foreign Domestic Workers’ work in Singapore, and of course to all FDWs, so feel free to share this event with your friends and helpers!

Aidha Prevent Breast Cancer Awareness Event - 26th Feb

Aidha Open House - Sunday, 26th Feb

Calling out to potential Aidha students – learn more about Aidha programmes and join in for a quick English class trial and the Money Management Game! The Open House is on 26th February, Sunday at the United World College Dover (1207 Dover Road) from 11am to 12.30pm. Food and drinks are available from our tasty potluck! Also, as a result of our successful fundraising effort for our Aidha10 Campaign, we are offering $100 Aidha10 scholarships for M1 or M2 to self-supporting students who are paying their Aidha tuition fees on their own, without any financial assistance from their employer. So, instead of paying the regular fees of $400/module, those receiving Aidha10 Scholarships will only need to pay $300 per module. Don’t miss this great chance!

Past Event: Aidha Open House & Free Eye Test, 2 Oct

Calling out to potential Aidha students – do you want to learn more about Aidha? Join us for our 2nd October Open House from 10am to 3pm which will be full of fun free activities such as a Managing Money Game, a FREE eye test and a campus tour!

 

In collaboration with Essilor & Partners (BridgeAble, Optometry Giving Sight & Ngee Ann Polytechnic), is organizing a FREE eye testing event on 2nd October, at Aidha Sunday Campus (UWC Dover). Click here to view the map & directions to UWC Dover.  The FREE eye test is available for all FDWs including non-Aidha students. Every FDW who comes for a FREE eye test will receive a FREE pair of sunglasses! Also, if needed, you will receive a coupon for a more in-depth eye test at one of the participating Polytechnics and receive a FREE prescription eyeglasses! If you are interested, please register:
