It’s time again to cycle to support Aidha’s financial education for foreign domestic workers and low-income women in Singapore! Aidha has held an annual fundraising bike ride, the Aidha Tour de Singapore, for the last four years and every year it has made a critical contribution to supporting our programmes.

To continue the Aidha Tour de Singapore tradition, this year we have created an Aidha team within the OCBC Cycle Singapore. On 19 November, athletes and amateurs alike will take part in Aidha’s Tour de Singapore 2017 within OCBC Cycle.

We invite all friends of Aidha to join us on 19 November from 7am to 9am to cheer on the riders as they end the intensive 42km ride! Save the date, more details to come soon….

Aidha’s Tour de Singapore 2017 as Team Aidha within OCBC Cycle is the flagship event of our annual year-end Gift of Education campaign. The goal of our 2017 Gift of Education campaign is to raise awareness and $100,000 in support of Aidha’s financial literacy and empowerment programmes. It’s important that we reach our goal because we have big plans to impact more lives!

The year ahead will be focused on three bold initiatives!
– Our biggest priority is to expand access to our programmes to reach more women. We have taken the significant decision to lower our course fees by nearly 40%. – Our goal is to empower twice as many women annually within 2 years!
– Second, we want to thoughtfully adapt our proven financial education model to benefit more low-income Singaporean women. We are working on exciting new collaborations to achieve this.
– Last but definitely not least, we are launching a new Aidha Business Accelerator programme! This programme will help our graduates more rapidly start viable businesses or strengthen existing businesses through sustained small group mentorship, access to funding opportunities and specialised business workshops.

Aidha’s life-changing programmes are only made possible thanks to the support of generous donors. And that’s why we need your help! Even if you’re not biking, you can still help fundraise! To support Aidha’s Tour de Singapore 2017 initiative, do not hesitate to inform your friends, family and co-workers about Aidha and invite them to pledge support for the upcoming ride. Every dollar that’s donated will be used to provide low-income women with financial education.
