aidha’s headquarters, our research and development centre, and our main campus are based in Singapore.

Singapore offers unique resources for aidha.  First, as a vibrant, first world nation, Singapore offers our social enterprise access to exceptional academic and research institutions, for example.  Singapore’s business community is also sophisticated and thriving.  aidha depends heavily on its partners within Singapore’s business elite to build brand and network opportunities.   Finally, Singapore also offers a uniquely supportive infrastructure promoting not-for-profits and social innovation.

But Singapore also affords critical geographical advantage for aidha.  Located at the heart of Southeast Asia, Singapore affords intimate connection to some of the world’s poorest nations, and to their people.

Singapore’s community now hosts over a million foreign workers. They are the hopeful poor.  They come from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, and the Philippines. They come for employment and for the opportunity to lift themselves and their families out of poverty.
