Veronica Gamez, Executive Director. A native of Mexico, Veronica is dedicated to promoting women’s economic empowerment through education. She left the corporate world in 2008 to become aidha’s executive director. Previously, she worked with Credit Suisse (CS) and The Boston Consulting Group in Singapore, London & Mexico. She earned her BA with Honours (Finance) from Cass Business School and her MBA at the University of Chicago. Contact: veronica.gamez@aidha.org

 
Marjo Kurkela, Operation Manager

Marjo comes from Finland and has more than ten years of international working experience of Management and Finance.  She has a background as entrepreneur of a start-up company in manufacturing industry. Recently Marjo worked for the NGO specialized for the migrant children education in Shanghai China. Marjo has MSc in Forest Economy from Helsinki University and MBA from joined program of IB Norwegian Business School – Fudan University Shanghai (China). Contact: marjo.kurkela@aidha.org

Lidia Riveros, Human Resource Manager. Lidia has a degree in Chemical Engineering from Metropolitan University in Mexico.  She tutored in the London Metropolitan University & worked in various nonprofit organizations. Before joining aidha, Lidia was a Regional Coordinator for the Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee She is convinced that education is the most effective way for personal growth. Priya Mendon, Operations Manager. Prior to joining aidha, Priya worked for 8 years at the Community Service Society (CSS). At CSS, Priya was the Director of Community Health Advocates, a $4 million program that educated, connected and represented New Yorkers with their health insurance coverage. She holds a BA Political Science from Bryn Mawr College in and a MA in International Relations and Human Rights from New York University. Contact: priya.mendon@aidha.org


Chin-Yu Ng, Financial Controller. Chin-Yu spent more than 10 years after graduation in the banking and financial industry, having worked in Merrill Lynch, Bankers Trust and KPMG.  After leaving the industry she set up an enrichment centre offering language and maths programs to children up to high school level.  She graduated with a B. Magalí Murià, Research Manager. Originally from Mexico, Magalí has over 15 years of research experience in migration, education, and public policy. She has worked for diplomatic and policy agencies, and educational institutions as a researcher and educator. She holds a PhD. in Communication from the University of California, San Diego, and a MA in International Relations from Boston University. Contact: magali.muria@aidha.org


Rohini Chopra, Marketing Manager. Rohini Chopra graduated with an MBA from Institute of Management Technology. A sales and marketing professional, Rohini has expertise in trade marketing, customer development and channel marketing with companies like Henkel & Coca-Cola for over 10 years.
